Original language is only the starting point
Movie123 labels a production’s original language. It does not claim that every dub or subtitle track is available for every edition. Open the viewing player’s language menu to see the choices for the edition you selected.
Translation and captions serve different needs
A translated subtitle track follows dialogue in another language. Captions may also include speaker names and important sounds. Look for the option that fits the people watching. If you need sound descriptions, do not assume that any English translation contains them.
Text is too small or out of time
Check for size, outline, background and position controls in the player. On a television, test readability from the actual seating distance. If dialogue and subtitles are out of sync, confirm the film version and subtitle track first. Different cuts can have different runtimes.
For a film with several adaptations, use the versions page to identify it. Movie123 does not host subtitle files or change settings inside an outside player.
